With the park closed until spring, there isn’t too much exciting stuff happening around here … until the other day, at least. As I left the office for lunch I saw something really exciting … the slides for Vanish Point. Seeing the actual slides got me excited for our 2011 season. The slides are brightly colored, and there are a lot of pieces. So much fun to see.
I take a tour of the park at least once a week to check on the construction process. The land has been cleared in preparation for the construction process that is scheduled to begin next year. By May, Vanish Point will be ready to thrill riders.

I’m looking forward to riding Vanish Point when it opens in the spring. Even my son can’t wait. I promised him he can ride if he grows just ½ inch more. You see, riders must be 48 inches tall to slide. He promises to drink his milk and eat his vegetables so he can hit a growth spurt. Currently, he is about ½ inch shy.
How many of you will be braving Vanish Point in 2011?
