Santa's Workshop

My family and I had an opportunity to visit Christmas Town last weekend. My girls (9 and 5 years old) always enjoy the park, butespecially this time of year. It was fun watching them as we entered each village. Just after sunset was beautiful with all the color, lights and overall atmosphere. The looks on their faces (and everyone else’s for that matter) really warmed our hearts.

My youngest daughter couldn't wait to see Santa Claus so she could tell him what she wanted for Christmas. We worked our way to the North Pole (Germany Village), where Santa's Workshop is. His workshop was all decked out with toys, books and an amazing fireplace. The elves helping Santa were jovial and everything you'd imagine an elf to be. You really feel as if you are in the North Pole.

Each child got a chance to sit on Santa's lap and give him their list. There was a photographer on staff taking pictures of them and we could take pictures, too. The atmosphere in Santa's Workshop was light and fun … the perfect place to meet Santa.

My family and I will never forget our visit to Christmas Town and our very special encounter with Santa Claus. What are you asking Santa for this year?
