Howl-O-Scream 2012

To our online friends,

Many of you are already wondering what Howl-O-Scream will look like in 2012. It’s no surprise your interest is already piqued … Howl-O-Scream is one of our most popular events of the year. Where else can you find such a unique blend of daytime family fun and thrilling nighttime haunts?

As many of you may know, we are constantly looking at ways to better our park. Each new season we pledge to offer something new for you to enjoy, which also includes our Howl-O-Scream and Christmas Town events. For the 14th edition of Howl-O-Scream, we’ve reviewed and evaluated every aspect of this popular fall haunt … especially the scare zones, shows and haunted houses. I can’t give you all of the details just yet, but our social media fans will be among the first to know later this year. Right now, I do want to address a rumor about Monster Stomp Revamped (MSR).

It’s true that MSR will not be performed at Howl-O-Scream in 2012. We didn’t come to that conclusion lightly. Decisions like this are based on many factors, like the show quality, guest attendance and our guests’ reviews history. And while it’s true that MSR played to full houses and its fan base is very strong, we had to look at the big picture and ask even more questions like what show could replace MSR, could it return one day even better, how do we satisfy our guests’ requests for new shows and how future shows and attractions fit together in our park.

Monster Stomp Revamped was performed for nearly 10 years between the Abbey Stone Theatre and its original venue, the Canadian Palladium. It improved each season, thanks to the hard work and performances by the singers, dancers, musicians and all of our talented team members behind the scenes. So, I know this could be disappointing news for some of you, but I hope you will remain confident that we will continue to bring you the best Halloween entertainment. I want you to enjoy Howl-O-Scream and I’m sure the 2012 edition of this popular event will deliver a fun, thrilling and haunting time for you and your friends.

Stay tuned for more Howl-O-Scream details.
