Before I was transferred to Water Country USA, I worked at Busch Gardens for 17 seasons. Busch Gardens has been my home for so long and the people there are just like an extended family. Some people think it’s crazy, but over the years I’ve gotten to know many guests who come back to Busch Gardens year after year. I don’t know many of them by name but their smiling faces I recognize instantly. It’s fun to see them so often.
One of my favorite memories from last year was our Christmas Town event. It is so much fun to work. I mean, how can you beat the sounds of Christmas and the beautiful decorations? It’s an overwhelmingly beautiful sight.
After working the whole year at Water Country USA, it was nice to take a break to work Christmas Town. It felt like I was coming home. I got to see old friends that I have previously worked with and I get the chance to meet new faces. I had even forgotten just how many guests I knew. Many of them were here this past weekend smiling and enjoying the experience.
I hope you get the chance to come out and experience Christmas Town. It is truly the most wonderful time of the year.
