It’s that time of year. The trees are up, the lights are on, the shops and shows are sparkling and Santa and Mrs. Claus have arrived to help us celebrate Christmas Town.
This season, kids of all ages can experience Busch Gardens as we celebrate Christmas through Europe. Each country is themed to the likes of its origins including lights, scents and sounds along the way.
There are numerous activities for the little ones to enjoy the Christmas season. Make sure to stop by the Globe Theatre in England to catch the live show, “A Sesame Street Christmas.” The kids will dance along with their favorite Sesame Street characters as they spread Christmas cheer throughout the audience.
New this year is the “Flight of Lights.” Our skyride has transformed for the holidays, offering an amazing view of the park. Take the Flight of Lights to see all the lights, sights and sounds of Christmas Town.
Looking for Santa? Head to Germany and visit Santa’s Workshop. Be prepared with your wishes, we have paper and pens for you to complete your wish list as you wait. If you’re looking for special time with Santa, the park offers Santa’s Fireside Feast where the entire family can relax and enjoy dinner and story time with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
If it’s more of a polar experience you’re looking for, check out the Polar Pathway in France. Meet some of our animal ambassadors including a snowy owl, a giant Flemish rabbit and our adorable penguins. The snow is falling as you enter the France village, so make sure you’re bundled up.
If your kids need to do some Christmas shopping, make sure to stop by “The Stocking Shop,” inside Der Marktplatz. There, kids will find pre-wrapped gifts to purchase for everyone on their lists.
I hope you get a chance to come out and visit with us during this magical time of year.
