I have heard jokes for years on how the younger generation is more adept at technology. The opportunities that this generation has with technology are amazing. My boys can download games to my phone and play them better than I can.

I have two children, 4 and 7. My 7-year-old son Alex tells people how tall he is by listing the rides he can ride at Busch Gardens. Alex is always reaching for the next milestone. I remember the first day he measured 42 inches at the front gate. He didn’t understand why he got a different color band that day. The next day my husband drove him up to the park where he rode Big Bad Wolf for the first time.

A new year at the Williamsburg theme parks brings new rides, attractions, shows and special offerings for our valued Pass Members. At Busch Gardens and Water Country USA, we continually strive to offer value and convenience to our guests, especially our loyal pass members. It’s finally time … our 2nd annual Spare Wolves Bowling Fundraiser is here. Come out for a night of bowling, animal ambassador interactions and a silent auction. Last year this event was wildly successful and we were able to raise more than $2,500 for wolf conservation projects supported by the SeaWorld Busch Gardens Conservation Fund. We want to top that number this year and we need your help. Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under.

Jack Hanna and our friends from the Columbus Zoo will be here to help us celebrate this great event. They’ll be joining Julie Scardina and trainers from Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and the SeaWorld parks in San Antonio, San Diego and Orlando.
