You don't often hear the words cute and alligator in the same sentence, but our newest Water Country USA residents are definitely an exception. I want to introduce you to our new American alligators - Elvis, Horatio, Crocket and Tubbs. These little guys or girls (they are too young to tell) are only two months old and already have me wrapped around their little webbed toes, especially Tubbs. Currently they are about ten inches long, but as adults can reach up to 15 feet … at which point I will not be holding them.

Hopefully, all of you were safe and warm at home on December 26 during the snow. As for my team and I, we were up early making our way into the park to care for the animals. The penguins still wanted their fish, the parrots were demanding their peanuts and the Clydesdales and Scottish Blackface Sheep needed their hay.

If you've had the opportunity to visit Water Country USA this summer, you may have noticed some new inhabitants. With the park's fun and beachy atmosphere, our tropical birds are fitting right in. The parrots are perched to the right of the Jet Scream entrance. Just follow the squawking.

It's been really fun to watch the birds explore their new environment as well as see the guest's reactions.

One of our dogs, Pachino, is the lead mail carrier in our show. He is extremely friendly and really has a taste for sub sandwiches.
