For the second year in a row Water Country USA will participate in the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson. The goal of this event is to educate everyone on the importance of learning how to swim.
At the close of every Water Country USA season, we look at areas to improve or enhance for our guests and team members. The changes could be anything from adding a major thrill ride like Vanish Point or a new dining facility. We’ve found that even little changes go a long way and make a difference in our guests’ experience or our team members’ work areas.
This week, I got to take the climb to the top of Vanish Point. It’s higher than anything else in the park and the view is amazing. The top of both slides are installed and you can clearly see your path to scream, or should I say where you will begin your exciting drop.
Did you know that at 8:30 pm on March 26, people around the globe participated in Earth Hour? This international event encouraged everyone to turn out lights at the same time as a symbolic display to raise awareness toward the need to take action on climate change. We are committed to environmental conservation and were eager to participate.
People always ask me for cool facts about the park so I compiled a list you can share with your friends.
