If you've had the opportunity to visit Water Country USA this summer, you may have noticed some new inhabitants. With the park's fun and beachy atmosphere, our tropical birds are fitting right in. The parrots are perched to the right of the Jet Scream entrance. Just follow the squawking.
It's been really fun to watch the birds explore their new environment as well as see the guest's reactions. You can have your picture taken with the birds and there is a trainer available to answer any questions.
The birds and team members are new to Water Country USA and we can all agree on one thing ... birds love the music. It's a change of pace from the quiet relaxed environment of Busch Gardens. You may even see the parrots dancing to the beat. Also, feel free to tease any trainer that you catch singing along.
When you visit the park, make sure to come say “hello” to the birds. They may just say it back.
